Who We Are
An economic justice movement for South Africa's forgotten majority.

The Over 35 People's Platform was founded on a single, undeniable truth: 4 million South Africans over the age of 35 are unemployed — and not one government programme was specifically built for them.

We practise municipalist politics — returning power to the ward, the community hall, and the street. Real change happens at the level closest to people's lives. We fight for that change in council chambers.

Rooted in the principles of Ubuntu, equality, and dignity, we reject ageism as a form of systemic oppression and demand its end — in employment, in government policy, and in community life.
